On 12th May, we shed some light on the devastating plight of the poorest people in Limpopo Province. Together with our sister NPO, Keep The Dream 196 (KTD196), we are working earnestly to bring some relief to the hundreds of additonal families whose plight has been brought to our attention during #Covid-19.
We are so pleased to share our progress since then. Following our first handover, an additional 100 families have been assisted, with We Care Mother Africa contributing 25 food parcels toward this total. Some of the families have also started their small permaculture gardens with the help of KTD 196.
Our heartfelt thanks to Mr Prean Pather and Mr Vishen Govender (Norsaf Marine) for generously donating once more. We also say a big thank you to our supporter, Miss Mala Maharaj, for showing so much love to our families through her generous donation.
Each hamper consisted of:
♡10kg Maize Meal
♡2kg Rice
♡750ml Sunflower Oil
♡2x 410g Baked Beans
♡4x 410g Pilchards
♡2x 400g Peanut Butter
♡2x boxes Stock Cubes
