Times are really tough for too many of our people. We can never say this enough because it is our reality. Our partnership with Impophomo Rushing Waters (IRW) has brought relief to 48 more families in distress. Some of our beneficiaries have had no income and can’t afford their rent. Some have not yet obtained their SA citizenship so they remain ineligible for state social assistance. Another group are volunteers who have dedicated their lives to community work (home-based care; prayer circles; counselling), relying on donations from small business to do their valuable work. #COVID-19 has severely impacted these businesses and donations have seized.
We are so pleased to have been able to come to the aid of these most deserving people. We are honoured to serve with our sister, Ntsoaki and her awe-inspiring team at IRW.
