Our outreach in Tongaat, KZN
This weekend, we were able to assist 45 household heads:
♡women that have lost their jobs during lockdown
♡women who have been jobless for an extended period
♡pensioners and disabled elderly, who rely on a social grant and the kindness of community outreach programs, whilst having to bear the insurmountable costs of living
♡mothers who are struggling to feed their families
♡mothers who dedicate their lives to caring for their disabled children
Ours was a small act of kindness BUT one that resulted in the smiles, gratitude and blessings of these most deserving people. We focussed on the areas of Rajkumar and Gwala’s Farm, with a few house visits in the area, for those who could not come out to us.
We are humbled by the commitment of Avni Singh, who has spearheaded numerous initiatives, with just a small community network, to assist the poor: a cancer support group, a daily feeding program for 190 children and 250 elderly, food parcels, the list goes on. Thank you, Avni for everything you do🙏🏼
We say a heartfelt THANK YOU to every donor that supported this project:

Our outreach in Zandspruit, Gauteng
Together with our partner, Impophomo Rushing Waters, we are doing our bit to protect the vulnerable during winter. Recently, we contributed large blankets to 25 households in the impoverished community of Zandspruit. This formed part of a mass blanket and clothing drive for people who have lost their jobs, have not received the state emergency funding, and those who are struggling to meet their daily living expenses.
Covid19 cases are on the rise and our NPO network is shaping its response to protect the people we serve.
